Kenya Police Launch Search Party For 50 People Who Escaped Quarantine Hospital
The Kenyan police have launched a search party for 50 people that managed to escape a quarantine facility at KMTC (Kenya Medical Training College) in Nairobi.
A tweet that shared a video shows a couple of men jumping over a wall.
The Citizen TV established that the people were having their evening meal when it started to rain and saw security officers going away.
After taking advantage of the situation, the men jumped out through the fence.
There are fears that they could pose a risk to the other Kenyans that are following the government’s directive.
The directive in Kenya states that anyone who has been exposed to the deadly virus should be isolated for 14 days.

The people that ran away were under observation at KMTC.
Reports indicate that some of them were still waiting for their coronavirus results.
Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi confirmed that they had received reports of 50 people escaping.
In a statement Mercy released, she said:
“The Ministry of Interior is following up on the KMTC issue and we will be able to update once investigations are undertaken.”
Let’s all hope the 50 people get traced fast by the police.
