13-Year-Old Girl Fatally Shot In Neck While Showing Mother New Dance Move She Learned From TikTok
Amaria Jones, a 13-year-old girl, died after being fatally shot in the neck as she was showing her mother a new dance move that she learned from TikTok.
The incident happened in Chicago, USA.
On the evening of Saturday, Amaria was showing her mother a dance move that she learned from social media when the shooting began outside.
A stray bullet hit her on the neck, killing her on the spot.
Lawanda Jones, the mother of Amaria, said:
I turned around and I was looking for her and she was on the ground reaching out like this, holding her neck. I was like, what?! What?! What?!The last thought that I have of my baby is her reaching out with blood gushing out of her neck.
Amaria was one of the 3 teenagers that got hit during the shooting.
According to reports and by the police, a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were also shot during the horrible incident.
The surviving victims were rushed to a hospital, where they were listed in a stable and good condition.
Authorities have launched an investigation for the incident.
Jones is urging the person that killed her daughter.
During an interview with CBS Chicago, the mother said that her daughter wanted to become a lawyer in her adult years.
She added:
No one want to be … burying their child. It’s supposed to be … them burying us, not us burying them.
Over the father’s day weekend, over 100 people sustained bullet injuries.
13 kids died during that weekend and 5 of them were children.
