US President Donald Trump And First Lady Melania Trump Test Positive For The Coronavirus
Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America, announced earlier today that he and Melania Trump, his wife and the First Lady of the USA, have tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic.
This comes after President Trump said that the virus was a hoax and was seen flouting the guidance of the experts.
He also refuses to wear masks in the public.
The diagnosis amounts to the most serious known health threat to a sitting president in America in the last couple of decades.
Trump is currently 74 and is obese. President Trump is at a higher risk for serious complications from the disease, which has killed over 200,000 Americans and more than 1 million people all over the world.
Trump tweeted the news.
Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

A couple of hours after the announcement was made by President Trump, the first lady wrote that she and her husband were feeling good.
President Trump was last seen in the public on the afternoon of Thursday when he was returning to the White House after a fundraising trip to New Jersey.
He was not ill when he was walking back inside their residence in the White House.
Navy Cmdr. Dr. Sean Conley released a statement about an incident, where they said:
The President and First Lady are both well at this time, and they plan to remain at home within the White House during their convalescence. The White House medical team and I will maintain a vigilant watch, and I appreciate the support provided by some of our country’s greatest medical professionals and institutions. Rest assured I expect the President to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any further developments.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the president of the USA and his wife, may they get well and recover from the disease.
