A brave man decided to risk his own life in order to save a stranded dog that got trapped in a flooded house.

The Filipino man reportedly swam through 6ft of floodwater to save the poor dog.

According to reports, the incident happened in Marikina, Philippines.

The northern part of the Philippines was hit by Typhoon Ulysses, which is also known as Typhoon Vamco.

Most of the people were told to make their way to higher ground to keep themselves safe, however, the man that was caught on cam decided to risk and jump back into the muddy, debris-field waters.

This was done to save a dog that was trapped in a nearby flooded house.

The dog that he saved was not his own dog.

This just shows that the man was just a good lad that wanted to do something good in his life.

Sheryl, the one that took the video, said that the man was really brave.

She added: “I really admire the man because of how bravely he rescued the trapped dog from the flooded house.”

The extreme flooding that you can see in the video is the result of massive winds that were experienced in the northern part of the country on November 11.

Typhoon Ulysses has affected millions of people in the Philippines and has destroyed thousands of houses.

The typhoon also hit other southern parts of the Philippines on November 10, 2020.

This typhoon mainly caused extreme damage to Luzon, the main island of the Philippines.

This is reportedly the 21^st tropical storm that managed to hit the country this year alone.
