Veere Di Wedding will not be able to release in Pakistan.

The story of four friends who reunite after ten years and their experience and realisation of how much has life changed in 10 years.
Starting Sonam Kapoor which will be her first movie release after her wedding as well as ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is Kareena’s first movie after she became a mother who for her fans is a long-awaited film, however, unfortunately, the movie received a band in Pakistan.

Directed by Shashank Gosh, the movie was screened for the CBFC (Central Board Of Film Censors) in Pakistan and was banned because of “Vulgar dialogues and obscene scenes.”

Dayal Gilani who currently is Chairman of CBFC(Central Board of Film Censors) in Pakistan told IANS via social media “Members of CBFC (Central Board of Film Censors) has unanimously decided to not allow the film for public exhibition in cinemas as its content flouts the Censorship of Film code 1980”.

After this distribution club has withdrawn their application for distribution of this movie as they witnessed the criticism from CBFC for this movie. In this movie, we can see all 4 actresses talking freely about sex and drinking and abusing a lot which may be the reason behind the decision CBFC took.
However, the movie is set to release in cinemas in India this Friday.

However, people of Pakistan have reacted against this in Pakistan some of the tweets of people from Pakistan are saying.

“Censor board has confirmed that #VeereDiWedding is going to be banned in Pakistan because of “vulgarity” and also “theme.”

Why can’t Pakistan tolerate women living it up however they want. Not even surprised anymore tbh.”

Tweeted by Faryal Hassan tweeted.

“I’ll still be watching it no matter what. Been waiting for this film since last year. Censor board of Pakistan can go suck it.#VeereDiWedding.”
Said another girl Amna Ahad

“#VeereDiWedding is banned in Pakistan because of “vulgar” content.
Meanwhile, there are men on the roads of this very country jerking off in public and no one seems to be taking any action in that regard.”
