Sri Lanka’s Chamara Silva Attempts The Most FOOLISH Shots In Cricket History
Right from the inception of T20 cricket, batsmen across the world have attempted innovative and unorthodox shots in a bid to score quickfire runs. This eventually made the audience go crazy in the stadium and have lots of entertainment.
There is a saying, ‘Cricket is a funny game’ which is often associated with the game when a team loses its grip on the situation and let the other team take the command. In the same way, veteran Sri Lankan batsman Chamara Silva took innovation to a whole new level when he attempted to play one of the bizarre shots ever in cricket.
Silva became a laughing stock on social media after his failed attempt to play the shot. The incident took place during a match between MAS Unichela and Teejay Lanka at P Sara Oval in Colombo.
In a video, which is going viral on the internet, Silva can be seen going behind the wickets to play the shot but the dead-straight ball rattles his stumps, ending Silva’s funny innovative shot. At the same time, the risk was very high and the bowler redeemed the risk of Silva and made him bold.

Earlier, in September, Silva was banned by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for two years for breaching the spirit of the game during a Tier-B first-class match. Later on, he was given temporary relief as he was allowed to participate in domestic matches.
