Wedding season has well and truly kicked off, with the likes of Zaheer Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Virat Kohli tying the knot recently. Another cricketer is set to join the list. It is none other than Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder and Hardik Pandya’s brother, Krunal Pandya.

Krunal is set to tie the knot on December 27 in Mumbai with his girlfriend Pankhuri Sharma. Their pre-wedding shoot is absolutely gorgeous. The all-rounder has posted adorable pre-wedding pictures on the micro-blogging sites like Twitter and Instagram.

Krunal met Pankhuri at a common gathering two years ago and the two eventually started dating. “She is a friend of my friend. We met at a common gathering two years ago and developed a liking for each other. We both are of same age and get along a lot. What I like about her is, her simplicity and supportive nature,” Krunal told.

Krunal was part of the Mumbai Indians team that won this year’s IPL title. Following that, the 26-year-old proposed Pankhuri for marriage. “Well, I proposed her for marriage after our team Mumbai Indians became champions in the IPL this year. I was awarded man of the match in the finals and I thought it was the right time,” he said.

Krunal dreams of representing India at the 2019 World Cup along with his younger sibling. “The aim is not just to represent India for a couple of matches here and there but to play for as long as possible. It would be a dream come true if I and Hardik can together play for India in the 2019 World Cup,” Krunal had said after his selection in the A squad.

Krunal expressed his delight and eagerness to spend the rest of his life with her. The pictures are in black and white and Krunal and his to be wife look stunning in the same. What makes the pictures all the more good is the theme which is cricket.

Krunal is seen to be posing with different cricketing tools which include a bat, ball and a stump. His wife also wears a helmet in one of the pictures.

However, his brother Hardik Pandya is even more ecstatic as two important persons of his life are getting hitched and wished them all the happiness in the world.

The siblings are a crucial part of the Mumbai Indians franchise and the younger is expected to be retained ahead of the mega auctions in January. Both of them are taking giant strides in cricket with Hardik making it big at the international level for last two years. The elder brother is also expected to hit the straps soon at the highest level with some consistent performances in the domestic arena.

Hardik Pandya seems to be super excited about the marriage of his brother Krunal Pandya as he cheekily tweeted in cricketing terms that he got bowled by Pankhuri.
