Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is known to be a great friend of legendary Indian former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Both were known to share great companionship on and off the field. The Sehwag-Sachin duo was arguably the biggest nightmare for the opposite teams during their playing days.
The kind of mutual admiration that they showed for one another was a treat to watch for the fans. We had seen Sehwag narrating an incident took place between Sachin Tendulkar and Shoaib Akhtar to Shah Rukh Khan in an award function.
Sehwag was and has always been very vocal when it comes to his admiration for the legendary cricketer. Now, the friendship between the duo seems to have been strengthened even more.
It is not about the mutual praises but it is about Sachin’s gift to Sehwag. Apparently, Sachin gifted Sehwag a BMW 7 series car. Hence, Sehwag took to Twitter to thank Sachin for the gift and posted a pic of his with the car.
The cost of the car in India is said to be a whopping Rs 1.14 crore. “Thank you @sachin_rt paaji and @bmwindia. Grateful for this !” said Sehwag in the tweet.

For the facts, Sachin has been associated with BMW, the automobile manufacturing giant, for quite a long time. He has endorsed the brand as well. He has been their face for a long time now.
The two cricketers are also known to share a warm relationship with each other. Their special equation was clearly visible even at the time Sehwag retired from the game. Sachin, throwing overwhelming praise on Sehwag, had said that he is a “true champion” and that he was an absolute joy to play alongside.
Sehwag too has maintained that master blaster was an inspiration to him and remains a good friend off the pitch.
The two players share a glorious record together in ODIs. In 114 innings, they have scored 4387 runs in partnerships which is seventh highest in ODI history. The partnership between this pair includes 13 100-plus stands and 18 50-plus stands. While their highest stand is of 182 for the first wicket.
