Twitterati Hails Team-India For Clinching The 1st T20 Victory Against Australia Over DLS Method
While rain abrupted the graceful innings of Australia at 18.4 overs when the team is at 118. It is the DLS method that surprised the Indian team being slammed with an absolutely staggering target of 48 runs in 6 overs.
On one hand, with the ace batsmen like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shikhar Dhawan on our side, the Australians are no easy-side to be messed with. Starting off with Dhawan and Rohit, the latter’s splendid six that hovered wide over the boundary has chilled the viewers, despite his early dismissal.
Relieving the team from further stress, skipper Virat Kohli got landed onto the crease bagging some most valuable runs with Dhawan balancing the momentum fine enough to maintain an assigned 8.00 strike rate.
Thanks to Dhawan for giving a firm stand and needed boundaries, and it is Virat Kohli, the show-stopper of the day, he flexibly turned the game to the Indian side, won it once again, cheering the crowd with the bliss in the wave of victory at the first match of the T20 series.
Meanwhile, Internet didn’t hold it back just as it dies when Indian team shines brighter than ever, especially, social media handles like Twitter went showering the praises on skipper and the other two batsmen for their unprecedented dedication for the most unexpected and ultimate victory.
