[WATCH] Jason Behrendorff Reaction On Being Compared With WWE Superstar John Cena
Overwhelming dominant so far against the Aussies, the Indian team had come aiming to wrap up another series win when they take on a fumbling Australia in the second T20I. The Guwahati Cricket Stadium debuting the International match was the fresh pitch to the Australians and also for the Indians, the report said to be the non-bouncy throughout the match.
However, Australian captain David Warner won the toss and after a few plans went wrong, he elected to bowl first. His anticipation putting the hosts to batting has worked out completely well. The one-match old bowler Jason Behrendorff had ripped the Indian top order by taking back-to-back wickets of the world class batsmen.
The visitors finally managed to turn the tables on after a resounding win over the hosts in the second T20I. Thus, Jason Behrendorff became the chief architect of the 8-wicket victory, who ruined through the Indian top-order claiming four wickets in his 4-over spell and received the Man of the Match award in only his second T20I.
Though he missed the chance of proving himself in the first T20I due to DLS method, he had to bowl only one over. But, the left-arm pacer bowled incredibly well with the right lengths on a wicket that offered assistance to the bowlers. After Jason’s 4-wicket haul, he had to answer a few question in the post-match press conference.
One of the reporters asked the pacer about his resemblance similar to popular WWE wrestler John Cena. Behrendorff’s reaction to the comparison was a funny one as he replied that Cena is a bit bigger than him. “No, I haven’t. But from what I understand, he’s a fair bit bigger than I am. But yeah, I’ll take it. Sure,” said Behrendorff.

It would be one of the memorable days to remember for Behrendorff. “It’s an unbelievable feeling, to be honest, to bowl four overs tonight and take four wickets, but mainly to get a win. To get the boys back up and about after a pretty tough time in the one-dayers, it’s very, very special,” added the pacer.
When asked about his bowling plans, “I was really happy with that. Few ones that I got hit to the boundary probably weren’t where I needed to be bowling. But then to get the ball up there, swinging the ball, hit guys on the pads and nick blokes off: those are the things we talk about in our meetings. To get the balls in those areas especially up front,” said Behrendorff.
