The incident that has shaken the 2013 IPL is still haunting Sreesanth. After a considerable time lapse, there was earlier a moment when it felt like something good has happened, as Kerala High Court has passed a statement claiming that the ban on this ace bowler might be lifted if BCCI has to consider it. But, that didn’t stay for long.

We all know that Sreesanth is slapped with spot-fixing while playing for the IPL team Rajasthan Royals. Soon after that, a single-judge bench of the Kerala High Court had revoked the life ban decision. But, now, to very much surprise, a new decision by a division bench of the Court added that the life ban imposed by the BCCI on Sreesanth will stay.

Amidst his preparations for the comeback, this retaliation from the High Court has shocked the former cricketer who was all set to play Ranji Trophy for Kerala. The 34-year-old bowler even blasted the Kerala High Court in a series of tweets for not lifting the life ban on his cricketing career.

Infuriated Sreesanth went quoting the court’s calling as “worst decision ever”, next to that, he questioned the BCCI’s decision on allowing Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) back in the league. The two teams had completed their 2 years of suspension.

Later to everything, Sreesanth in his recent interview has said that he might play for another country and BCCI can do nothing about it. He bashed out at the authorities for cornering him after what all happened.

This Malayali bowler has said, “BCCI has imposed the ban, not ICC. If not India, I can play for any other country, because I am 34 now and I can only play for maximum six more years. As a person who loves cricket, I want to play cricket. And not only that, BCCI is a private firm; it is only us who say that this is the Indian team, but you know BCCI is a private body after all.”

Next, to these comments from Sreesanth, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary on Friday said, “Sreesanth is indulging in an empty talk by saying he can play for any other country.”

However, this evicted player so far haven’t replied to this comment, let us wait and see what else is going to happen.
