Virender Sehwag Calls Parthiv Patel ‘CC’ On Twitter, Twitterati Scratching Their Brains To Find What It Is
We had seen the Indian cricketers sharing a great bond among themselves off the field on many occasions. This solidarity is often visible on the social media. The players take the freedom to dig and shower wishes on one another every now and then.
Recently, Virender Sehwag and Parthiv Patel engaged themselves in a similar exchange of words. This is not the first time wicket keeper batsman Parthiv Patel indulging in a friendly banter with his teammates on micro-blogging site Twitter.
It is undoubtedly clear that former Ace cricketer Virender Sehwag took on to his second innings on Twitter. Since the beginning, Sehwag has been spreading some unbeatable humor across the social media. His wit and humor is something that everyone loves. Sehwag’s tweets always have a hint of humor which makes his fans go crazy.
It can be concluded that the entertaining batsman continues to do what he did on the field even after hanging up his boots. We got another example of the same when Sehwag took out time to wish Indian wicket-keeper batsman Parthiv Patel who has notable memories of representing India alongside Sehwag.
After leaving the popular English Journalist Piers Morgan in splits, Veeru Bhai trolled Parthiv Patel on Twitter as Parthiv reached 10,000 run landmark in first-class cricket. Parthiv Patel reached 10,000 run landmark in first-class cricket when he took the field in the ongoing Duleep Trophy.
Sehwag took the moment to congratulate the left handed batsman. The Delhi-born star referred to Patel as CC because of his short height as he hailed the achievement. In his tweet, Sehwag wrote “10,000 Mubarak PP urf CC !”

Parthiv Patel wasted no time in coming up with a reply to Sehwag’s tweet. In his reply, Patel thanked the much-respected cricketer for his wish. Patel wrote ‘Thank you virupa…’

What actually ‘CC’ refers to is “Chhota Chetan.” Before this contest, the left-handed batsman had played a total of 169 First-Class matches, scoring 9,995 runs with 25 centuries and 26 fifties at 44.22.
It is nice to see such healthy change of words between the players on the social media. Patel, 32, made his India debut in a Test match against England at Nottingham in August 2002. Patel, regarded as one of the most gifted wicket-keepers, has since played 23 Tests, 38 ODIs and two T20Is scoring 878, 736 and 36 runs respectively.
