Twitterati Trolls RCB Extensively After Being Bowled Out By KKR At IPL’s Lowest Ever-49 Runs
Despite the outcome, any match with Royal Challengers Bangalore always turns out to be a feast, a good dose of entertainment. But, however, things turned out eccentric yesterday after the mighty RCB headed home at a minimum of 49 runs total.
Earlier, the IPL’s record lowest score was 58 runs and Rajasthan Royals did that in 2009, now RCB has broken RR’s record placing themselves at the first position when lowest IPL scores are listed.
Kolkata Knight Riders in the yesterday’s match have performed some spellbound bowling locking out RCB’s total to just 49 runs at Eden Gardens. KKR gave a target of 132 runs, and unlike the expectations of the crowd, RCB were bundled for lowest team total in IPL history.
It was all bowlers show, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Chris Woakes and Colin de Grandhomme picked three wickets each while Umesh Yadav chipped in with a wicket. KKR managed to complete RCB’s show in just 9.4 overs.
And this defeat has added in one more to RCB’s kitty, making it five, RCB is currently at the bottom of the points table. Meanwhile, winning five matches, KKR totaled its points to 10 and is at the second position.
For ending up the match at the severe total, Twitterati has reacted in its way and here are the best of them,
On this day in 2013 @RCBTweets posted the highest ever #IPL total. 4 years later they post the lowest ever total. #KKRvRCB
