Yes, India sealed a memorable 2-1 series win against Australia, with an eight-wicket win in the fourth Test in Dharamsala. What a great comeback it has been for India. After losing the first Test match comprehensively, the hosts came back strongly in the second Test. The third Test ended in a draw as went teams went into the last Test match with the series hanging in balance.
But it was India who came out in the top in Dharamsala. After bowling out Australia for 300, India took the lead and bowled out the visitors for 137 in the second innings. With a target of 106 to chase, Ajinkya Rahane and KL Rahul took India home after Murali Vijay and Rahul added 46 for the first wicket. India wins the series 2-1 and reclaims the Border-Gavaskar trophy.

On Day 4, KL Rahul scored his seventh fifty as India reached the target in less than a session. Captain Ajinkya Rahane scored a quick-fire 38 off 27 balls. Earlier, Ravindra Jadeja’s stellar show with bat and ball put the Rahane-led team in the drivers’ seat in the fourth and final Test.
