Commentator Sanjay Manjrekar Called Pollard “Brainless”! Windies Cricketer Slammed Him Hard With A Series Of Tweets!

West Indies cricketer Kieron Pollard is the most destructive batsman in the world. He is known for hard hitting and smashing huge sixes. He makes the batting look terribly easy. But the monster batsmen seems to be unhappy last night with his bat.

Yesterday, the Sachin’s team Mumbai Indians won their first game of this IPL season. Nitish Rana came to Mumbai’s rescue with a scintillating performance and Hardik Pandya finished the game off in style.

While everyone was busy celebrating this win, Pollard was in a different state of mind. Actually, he was in a mood to blast out at Sanjay Manjrekar for passing an “Insensitive remark” about him during the commentary.

It all happened when the West Indian arrived at the crease early in the innings and couldn’t contribute much to the scoreboard. He scored just 17 runs off 17 balls which included a six and a four.

After he was dismissed, commentator Sanjay Manjrekar made an insensitive remark saying,

Pollard does not have the brains to play early in the innings.

The cricketer clearly was upset over this remark, the term “Brainless” didn’t go down well with Pollard and so he took to Twitter to slam him.

Check out his series of tweets:

Indian commentator Sanjay Manjrekar is known for his critical comments but don’t you think he crossed the limit this time? While criticism does bring the best out of players, derogation doesn’t.

Even another West Indian cricketer Tino Best, slammed Manjrekar for his choice of words. He also involved fellow commentator Kevin Pietersen in the discussion.

Check out what he tweeted:

With IPL, even the controversies have started. Instead of the game, these issues are stealing the show. Don’t you think this should stop? Let us know your views on this in our comments section bellow.
