This Is The Reason Behind MS Dhoni Stopping The India-England 2nd T20I For Few Minutes

Certain rules and regulations must be followed to ensure the fair and flexible play on the ground.

When it comes to the recent T20 match held in Nagpur between England and India, Team India’s former skipper and current wicket keeper MS Dhoni stopped the play for few minutes. Most of the cricket lovers were confused about the random break which is quite uncommon in International matches.

However, after analyzing the then match scenario, it is finally revealed that the reason behind pausing the match is ‘dysfunctional bails’.

Yes! this took place in the eighth over of England’s innings when Dhoni realized that led light of one of the bails had stopped working. At that moment, England’s score was 45/2 in  7.1 overs when the umpires called for a replacement.

However, TeamIndia managed to defend Englishmen from hitting the target though it is low, perfect bowling from Jasprit Bumrah in the last over helped India in clinching the sliding win in the second T20 match balancing the series at 1-1.

Meanwhile, the final match of the series will be played on February 1st at Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy stadium.
