Bollywood’s favorite on-screen couple – Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan – is back with ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, the spin-off to their 2014 rom-com ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. The makers released the first trailer for the film today and you can see Varun, Alia in a different avatar.

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawanlaunched the trailer of their upcoming film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ amid much fanfare and in the presence of their mentor Karan Johar in Mumbai. Varun and Alia are back for their third film together after Student of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.  Both the actors have done an amazing job in keeping up the accent and flavour of their characters throughout the trailer. And it is a total Bollywood masala film with festivals and item songs. Varun and Alia in the Tamma Tamma song, which was originally picturised on Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt.

Varun and Alia in the Tamma Tamma song, which was originally picturised on Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt enlightened the trailer.

Speaking about Alia as a bride, Varun Dhawan said, “I think Alia will make a good bahu as she is good with parents.” However, when Alia jokingly asked him if she will make for a good wife, Varun said, “I can’t say.”

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Gauhar Khan, Mohit Marwah, Shweta Basu Prasad and Girish Karnad. Badrinath Ki Dulhania is slated to release on March 10.
