HPSC Recruitment 2015:

The State of Haryana came into existence under the provisions of Punjab Re-Organization Act, 1966 (No. 31 of 1966), with effect from 1st November 1966, when the Haryana Public Service Commission also came into existence. Public Service Commissions, both at the Union and at the State level, are amongst the most important Public Institutions with long traditions which have served well. The establishment of this Institution had its origin in the history of Indian nationalism and the persistent demand of the leaders of freedom movement for progressive Indianisation of the Civil Service under British Raj. The Montagu-Chelmsford Report accepted in principle the demand for Indianisation of the higher civil services and accordingly a provision for this was made in the Government of India Act, 1919. The Royal Commission of the Superior Civil Service in India under the Chairmanship of Lord Lee, in its 1924 Report, recommended setting up of Public Service Commission of India. The Public Service Commission of India was set up on 1st October 1926 under the Chairmanship of Sir Ross Barker. Every year HPSC releases the various notifications for the recruitment of eligible candidates in various posts. Candidates who are interested should possess Degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) of a recognized University and Should have enrolled as an Advocate with Bar Council.

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- and Rs. 4600/- Grade Pay

For Veterinary Surgeon Posts:

Educational Qualification:

Applicant should possess Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Institute and Registered as Veterinary Practitioner with Haryana Veterinary Council or with any Veterinary Council in India or Indian Veterinary Council as required by Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.

Age Limit: 22 to 42 years as on 16th December 2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- and Rs. 5400/- Grade Pay

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for General (Male), Rs. 125/- For Female candidates of all (General and Reserved) categories of all states, Rs. 125/- for male of SC/ BC/ SBC/ EBPG candidates of Haryana State only. Candidates have to pay the fee through e-Challan in any branch of State Bank of India, State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of registration of online application form.
