About Indian Ordnance Factory IOF :

Ordnance Factories Board (OFB), consisting of the Indian Ordnance Factories, is an industrial organisation, functioning under the Department of Defence Production of Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It is engaged in research, development, production, testing, marketing and logistics of a comprehensive product range in the areas of land, air and sea systems. OFB consists of forty-one Ordnance Factories, nine Training Institutes, three Regional Marketing Centres and four Regional Controllerates of Safety, which are spread all across the country.

Notification Admit Card can be downloaded from the main portal site. Because Hall Ticket will not be sent by post to the different candidates.  Admit card is like an identity proof of candidates. The written examination of OFB Chargeman will be conducted at various pre allotted centers like :- Chandigarh, Badmal (Odisha), Jabalpur, Ambernath (near Kalyan, Mumbai), Kanpur, Aruvankadu (Near Ooty),  Chennai, Muradnagar (Near Delhi),  Dehradun, Kolkata, Medak (Near Hyderabad), Nagpur, Pune, Trichy.

Pattern of Exam :

• Total marks 200 for Technical Posts & 150 Marks for Non Technical Posts.
• Total Time Duration available 3 Hours
• All questions will be Objective type with multiple choices.
• Negative marking of 1/4 of the marks allotted for each wrong answer.
• Medium Of Examination will be in English / Hindi as chosen by Candidate.

Selection process :

The selection procedure pure depend on merit of Written examination. There will be no Interview/Personalty Tests. Selected candidates need to attened for the verification of original documents at NADP/Respective factories. A provisional merit list of candidates will be published.
