This notification to recruit candidate for various post of Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee), Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation) in different field such as Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, Civil, Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Electronics, Mechanic, and Boiler Operation.

About SAIL Rourkela :

Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP), the first integrated steel plant in the public sector in India, was set up with German collaboration with an installed capacity of 1 million tones. Subsequently, its capacity was enhanced to 1.9 million tones. RSP was the first plant in India to incorporate LD technology of steel making. It is also the first steel plant in SAIL and the only one presently where 100% of slabs are produced through the cost-effective and quality-centric continuous casting route.

Large number candidates applied for these posts. SAIL Rourkela has conducted exam to shortlist the candidates for interview. All the applied candidates who are qualified in the exam are only eligible for the interview.  The written test was held on 11th Jan 2015. Written exam was held in various examination centers are decided by the SAIL.

As per the lastest information most of the candidates appeared for the test, the first selection process.Candidates with good preparation can get through the exam. Its not that tough but only good preparation can help you to rack the exam. Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation) : 20 posts.

Selection Process For Sail Rourkela Recruitment 2014 :

• Eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Written Test in Hindi/ English.
• Candidates short-listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be required to appear in the Interview.
• The date, Time & Place of Written Test and Interview will be intimated to eligible/short-listed candidates through e-mail / SMS and SAIL website.
