Bollywood diva Zareen Khan has been the target of a few rumors on tabloid pages, linking her up with former Pakistan captain and legend Shahid Afridi. It was claimed that the actress was dating the cricketer since few days. What’s shocking was Zareen was the brand ambassador for the Pakhtoons team in the recently concluded T10 league, the team which was led by Afridi.

However, both of them were together spotted a couple of times and the media started the rumors of their affair which has gone viral on social media. During the tournament, she spotted hanging out with Afridi, who was the captain of the franchise. She was also seen celebrating wildly when Afridi took a wicket or smashed a six, further adding fuel to the fire.

During the interaction with the media, the actress confessed that she has a crush on former Pakistani cricketer and this is the main reason she decided to support the said franchise. The actress also took the opportunity and had the special message for cricketer Shahid Afridi and was quoted saying that,

“I have been a fan of Afridi from the very first day he had played his match, I think he was 16 and scored 100 runs on 32 or 35 balls.”

Zareen was also seen spending time with Afridi’s daughter on the sidelines of the T10 Cricket League in Dubai. However, this picture went viral and rumors started circulating that Zareen Khan is in a secret relationship with Afridi. These rumors left actress hurt and broke her silence and took the moment to clarify all the related stories that are being cooked recently.

Afridi has been a legend and stalwart of the Pakistan Cricket all throughout his cricketing career. After retirement, now he is enjoying his time playing the shortest format of the game in the various leagues contested all around the world. The cricketer is also a complete family man as mentioned by Zareen who was seen cheering in the crowd at a match with Afridi’s lovely daughters.
