Heartless Russian Priest Refuses To Baptize Baby Due To “Unholy” Birthmark

We are created equally, but humans interfere with equality.

A heartless priest in Russia is currently being hated on social media by users after he reportedly refused to baptize a baby.

The reason? Something that the baby was born naturally with.

The baby was not baptized because of the fact that the adorable little one had a birthmark that is being deemed as “unholy”.

Maria Khvostantseva, the mother of the baby girl, said that their local priest refused to baptize her daughter, who was 1 month old.

The incident happened last year.

The mother, who was 22 when the incident happened, showed a picture of the girl to the priest, who then turned down the baptism.

The woman said that the priest did not know if the birthmark of the baby was contagious or how the parents in Russia would react after seeing it.

Maria also said that the priest told her to not share the images of the baby on social media because they were “unholy”.

After all that, the priest said that he will only carry out the baptism if she agreed to pay him 4,000 RUB.

The priest then told the woman that he wanted to host a special individual baptism for the little one because of her unique condition.

Maria, the mother, said that the birthmark of her baby has covered 80 percent of her child’s body.

Doctors told her to take private treatment for her baby if she wanted to get rid of the birthmark.

Pictures that Maria shared on social media shows the large black mark across the back of the baby.

Mole-like blotches could also be observed on her face.

Mikhail Nasanov, the spokesperson of the Church for Kurgan Metropolis, said that this type of behavior is unacceptable for a priest.

An investigation could not be launched because the mother of the girl did not reveal the name of the priest or where it happened.
