Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Rips Off Electric Gate With Bare Hands To Avoid Getting Late For Work

Dwayne Johnson, who is also known as the Rock, shared an amazing image on Instagram where he said that he had to rip off an electric gate with his bare hands so he could avoid getting late for work.

The Rock used his hands to remove the gate from a wall in order to avoid being late to film scenes for his debut superhero movie.

In an Instagram post along with a picture of the gate lying on the ground, The Rock explained that a storm caused a power outage, which means that the door at his house would not open.

Not my finest hour 🤦🏽‍♂️, but a man’s gotta go to work. We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open. I tried to override the hydraulic system to open the gates, which usually works when power goes out – but this time it wouldn’t. Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn’t have 45min to wait. By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day. So I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass. My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later — and they were apparently, “in disbelief and equally scared” 🤣 Not my finest hour, but I had to go to work. And I think I’m 💯 ready to be #blackadam 😄💪🏾 #ripgates

In order to avoid being late, the man decided to just do everything by himself.

In the post, he said:

Not my finest hour but a man’s gotta go to work.

The Rock is a former professional wrestler and he is considered by many as one of the best looking men in the world.

The Rock feared that hundreds of crew members that are working on “Black Adam”, a DC Comics movie, would be left waiting for him as a technician said that it would take him 45 minutes to arrive.

The superstar had no time to wait, so he literally took everything into his own hands.

In the post, The Rock explained what happened and how he did everything.

He explained:

I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass. My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later – and they were apparently, ‘in disbelief and equally scared’ as to how I ripped it off.

The movie that The Rock is filming will be hitting cinemas all over the world in December 2021.
