Kanye West, a hip-hop artist based in the USA, has vowed to pay for the college tuition of George Floyd’s 6-year-old daughter.

The rapper has set up what is known as a 529 education plan that will fully cover the fees for the higher education of Gianna Floyd, the daughter of George Floyd.

The plan that was set up by Kanye West is a tax-advantaged investment scheme that is designed to encourage the saving for the future higher education expenses of a designated beneficiary.

George Floyd, the father of Gianna, died after a Minneapolis police officer knelt on his neck during an arrest.

The entire moment was caught on cam, which led to massive, peaceful, and violent protests across the United States of America and the world.

Videos on social media show Kanye West attending one protest in Chicago, USA, which is his hometown.

Not only that, but Kanye West has also donated to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor.

Who Are Ahmaud Arbery And Breonna Taylor?

25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery, a black man, was out jogging when he was shot dead during a confrontation with a father and son in Brunswick on February 23, 2020.

64-year-old Gregory McMichael and 34-year-old Travis McMichael were charged with murder on May 7, 2020.

The father and son killers said that they thought Arbery matched the appearance of a burglary suspect that they had seen on a surveillance camera for a home that was under construction nearby.

The father and son pursued Arbery in their truck, after which Travis shot him 3 times with a shotgun.

After shooting the 25-year-old man, Travis reportedly used a racial slur.

Breonna Taylor was killed by the police inside her own house in Louisville, USA, on March 13, 2020, as part of a drug investigation.

The police claim that they were returning fire when they shot Taylor after one officer was shot and wounded in the apartment.

It is reported that she was shot at least 8 times.

Kanye West And Donald Trump

However, the kind acts of Mr. West are being doubted by some of social media users, considering his close relationship with President Donald Trump, who has been severely criticized for the way he is handling the protests and protesters.

Kanye West has been spotted a number of times wearing the MAGA (Make America Great Again) red hat.

MAGA hats were used during the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump.

As a defense of him wearing the hats, Kanye says he only wore them so he could help people get out of prison.

During an interview in 2019 on The Red Pill, a podcast, West explained the reasoning.
