The UP Police decided to visit Sonakshi Sinha in her home for an inquiry in the ongoing cheating case that was filed against, the police visited her house on Thursday.

Sonakshi Sinha is currently involved in a cheating case in which she allegedly received Rs. 24 lakhs.

She was supposed to perform at an event after receiving the money, but the event organizer said that the actress did not show up at the event.

An event organizer registered a complaint against the actress and four other people for accepting the money.

The said event was scheduled to take place on September 2018.

The spokesperson of Sonakshi Sinha talked about the case during an interview with the Mumbai Mirror.

The spokesperson said, “In her nine-year-long career, she has only worked with complete honesty and sincerity. What this man is accusing her of is completely untrue and baseless.”

The spokesperson added, “This is just a way of extortion by maligning her spot-free reputation in the press and it is not something that Sonakshi and her team will succumb to. She is a thorough professional and we have been more than cooperative with whichever authorities that have gotten in touch with us because we have nothing to hide.”
