Actor Rajinikanth’s much talked about flick ‘Kabali’ has broke multiple records at the box office and we have also seen that the kind of fan frenzy and craze for the movie among the people is simply unbelievable. Now what we have come across is the amount Rajinikanth is paid for this film. He received a whopping amount for Kabali, probably the highest paid ever actor in India.

According to the latest report on India Today, Kabali is made on a budget of Rs 110 crore out of which Rs 35 crore went to Rajinikanth as remuneration! But that’s not all. Like all his films, Rajinikanth will also be getting a share from the profit the film reaps at the box office. Which means Rajinikanth would be getting an additional Rs 45 crore as share, which makes the total remuneration of the actor, a whopping Rs 80 crore!

Kabali hit the screens on July 22 and is smashing box-office records with its collection. At the success meet of Kabali, the makers have revealed that the film has grossed Rs 320 crore worldwide in six days. Kabali, which also stars Radhika Apte, Dhanshika, Kalaiarasan, Winston Chao, Dinesh, and Kishore in pivotal roles is based on the life story of an aged gangster.
