Google Now Brings App Streaming Technology Within Advertisements – Lets You Try Out Games Before You Install!

Google has now introduced a new feature called interactive advertisements for its users that allow them to access streaming apps within the mobile advertisements without having to go through the hassle of downloading them.  Google brings a new way for web searchers to find the information they want even when that content was locked inside a mobile application. The search engine would return results for in-app content, and offer you the ability to “stream” the app from the web to your phone, if you didn’t already have it installed on your device.

The company has applied the same technology as in the past to the latest ads. After considering the auxiliary benefits, this technology seems very interesting. With this new iteration, Google is now expanding the capabilities of app streaming by allowing advertisers to get benefitted by making their placements stand out in increasingly crowded mobile browsers.

Google Brings App Streaming Technology

Google now brings app dreaming technology to the mobile ads where we’ll be presented with an option to try out a product. Usually, we get frustrated because of the advertisement as they are compelled on us but, captivated by the content we come across. Now, Google enables users to take a trial run directly within the application using highly customized advertisements with even more interaction on the page to bring people in.

Trial Run Ads and Interactive Interstitials

Google has introduced two new app install ad formats for all the mobile users. It has launched a new way of interactive ads called “Trial Run Ads” which lets users try a game for 60 seconds without having to install it. This new feature allows users to play a game for up to 60 seconds by streaming content of the app to their mobile phones before they download or install it. This will help the user try out the game without directly downloaded onto their phones. Users can try the game and see whether the game is interesting or not so that they can install it on their device. This eventually leads to more relevant ad clicks and app downloads as well as pre-qualified app users.

Google Brings Trial Run Ads

Google also added a new way to create touchable, “swipeable,” more engaging and mobile-friendly advertisements called “Interactive Interstitials” to help app developers find the right users. This new ads offers app developers of all sorts the ability to make custom HTML5 ads that can collaborate with using gestures like swipes, touches, and more.

The Interactive Interstitials are based on HTML5 which provides customized user experience for each advertisement. Interactive interstitials let advertisers bestow the best features of an app by highlighting specific features. The company says that this sort of advertisements can be as large or as little based on the requirements of the advertiser. The objective of the Interactive Interstitials is to determine the purpose that the app will have for the user before they install it. Google has posted an image showing how Zalora built an advertisement which enabled users to swipe and discover an exclusive offer.

For instance, in the above image, Zalora, the makers of a fashion shopping app, built an ad that allows users to swipe to discover an exclusive offer. Other app marketers could create ad formats like “scratch off’s,” or use the ads to create swipeable image carousels. Google says that app marketers can also use live app content to build real-time ad formats.

Amazing Opportunities to Try Before You Buy

Google has introduced these new ad formats bringing more opportunities to the app developers and advertisers to get their apps downloaded by the users. Meanwhile, by clicking on the advertisements, the advertisers of particular ads will be benefitted. At the same time, there is no loss for the users as they can try the app or game for about some time limit and they can install or buy it only after liking it. Users can preview the application practically right within an application for a specific period of time similar to a demo version. This way users will have the opportunity to examine the product before installing them on their mobile phone.

As of now, both new app install ad formats are in beta and are available only for a limited set of testers or advertisers. If it manages to increase engagement, you can then expect a lot to see it on your smartphones too. The company says that the app developers who are interested in testing the new ad formats can contact their account manager to join the beta. It is a pretty good news for advertisers and big news for people who are looking to buy a product only after testing it.
