Dwayne Douglas Johnson, better known as “The Rock” was born on May 2, 1972. Dwayne is a producer, actor, and a professional wrestler. He is now 46-years-old.

The Rock played football for the University of Miami, he even won the national championship with them in 1991. Fast forward to 1995, Dwayne started to train as a professional wrestler after he was cut from the Calgary Stampeders, which plays under the CFL (Canadian Football League).

A year later Dwayne signed a contract with the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) which is now known as WWE (World Wrestling  Entertainment).

Dwayne is the son of Rocky Johnson and is the grandson of Peter Maivia. The Rock was known for his trash-talking and toned body. He won his first WWF Championship in 1998.

The Rock is 6 feet 5 inches tall and has a weight of 118 kilograms.
