Woman Gives Birth To Healthy Baby Girl While Walking In Parking Lot Of Medical Center

A viral video on social media shows a woman giving birth to a healthy baby girl in the parking lot of a medical center.

In the same video, a midwife could be seen grabbing the little girl so it won’t fall to the ground.

Susan Anderson, the woman in the video, was in labor and was on her way to the Natural Birth Works, which is located in Coral Springs, Florida, on June 19, 2020, when she gave birth.

Video from Ring shows Joseph and 2 police officers watching as the newborn slipping through one of the legs in her mom’s shorts.

Sandra Lovaina, a midwife, caught the baby before it fell to the ground.

During an interview with Anderson, she told Local 10 News:

During the car ride to the birth center, I turned to my husband, and I was like, “I need to push!” I didn’t think I wouldn’t make it into the building.

Anderson planned to go through water birth this time and was hurrying to try and reach the pool.

She explained:

By the time we got to the first step the head was coming. That was my focus, just getting inside to the birthing tub, but she had other ideas.

The video shows Anderson bent over with her husband by her side and the midwife kneeling behind her.

2 police officers came after hearing the commotion as they were in the area.

Anderson, the mother, gave a scream and the midwife grabbed Julia, the girl, as the police officers looked.

The baby was then placed into the arms of the mother as she started to cry.

During an interview with the local press, Lovaina, the midwife, said that she had been involved in some crazy deliveries before, however, this one was new.

She explained:

Not in the parking lot. Babies sometimes come really quick. You just gotta be, you gotta be quick. Put your gloves on, just go.

Gelena Hinkley, the owner of the Natural Birth Works, who is also a midwife, said that the birth of little Julia is very special and memorable.

She explained:

She had been our client before. We’ve done her other delivery, and round two was just a lot faster. No one was expecting it to be that fast.
