Fake FB Wall: South African Wicketkeeper-Batsman Heinrich Klaasen Compares His Wicketkeeping With MS Dhoni, Check How Dhoni Reacted
The Men in Blue would have loved to seal the series by winning the second T20I but the hosts had perfect plans to stop them. However, with the help of Klaasen’s brilliant innings, South Africa managed to put a break to team India’s winning streak.
South Africa wicket-keeper Heinrich Klaasen on Thursday credited his captain JP Duminy for making him a fearless cricketer as the latter’s presence in the middle was a key factor in his match-winning knock against India in the second Twenty20 International at Centurion.
While Duminy scored a calculated 64 off 40 balls, Klaasen scored a quick-fire 69 off 30 balls helping their team level the three-match series 1-1. It was the fastest half-century in T20I cricket by a South African batsman, not only against India but also at Centurion.
The knock was made more special for Klaasen by the fact that he got it on his home ground. Klaasen has progressed quickly in international cricket after he was called up to the ODI squad in Quinton de Kock’s absence owing to injury. It has been down to two match-winning knocks from him that South Africa have beaten India twice in eight matches during this limited-overs’ leg of the tour.
However, Klaasen was awarded Man of the Match for his brilliant and much-needed knock from the Proteas side. Heinrich Klaasen is high after leading South Africa to a remarkable win. Now, the wicketkeeper-batsman took to Facebook to ask something about his wicket keeping.
He wrote, “Am I the best wicket keeper in the world?”
He might not expect that an unexpected reply from an unexpected man would come and he is none other than MS Dhoni. The former Indian skipper who was earlier seen losing his cool at Manish Pandey did the same with Klaasen. Dhoni replied saying, “BHO***KE, IDHAR DEKH LE”.
Not only Dhoni, many Indian cricketers came forward to answer and slam the Proteas cricketer.
