Joint Capital of Andhra Pradesh State and Haryana Hyderabad state has been elected as the second best place in the world that one should see in 2015, according to an international travel publication which is associated with National Geography TV channel. Hyderabad gave a tough fight for Presidio of San Francisco of US which ranked first on the “Best of the World – 20 Places You Should See in 2015” list which was published in the annual guide of ‘Traveler’ magazine of National Geographic.

Few most desired places which have been listed out in the list of the survey being conducted included cities Zermatt in Switzerland, National Mall in Washington D.C, Corsica, Choquequirao in Peru, Sark in Channel Islands, Koyasan in Japan, Oklahoma City, and Maramures in Romania which were opted in the survey after being asked which is the most desired places you want to see during December 2014-January 2015. If we look into past Hyderabad has been a home to one of the richest men in the world the last ruling Nizam of Hyderabad Mir Osman Ali Khan.

Hyderabad has been in the news and was an issue of pride for the State of United Andhra Pradesh which was a demesne for most of the leading global IT brands and corporates. Hyderabad is well known for its historical monuments and majestic palaces built during the Nizam’s rule where Taj Falaknuma or Falaknuma, Charminar, Salar Jung Museum, Osmani Hospital, High Court of Andhra Pradesh, State Assembly of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been an unobjectionable exemplum.

Hyderabad is the capital and largest city of both the southern Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Occupying 650 square kilometers (250 sq mi), along the banks of the Musi River, it has a population of about 6.8 million and a metropolitan population of about 7.75 million, making it the fourth most populous city and sixth-most populous urban agglomeration in India. Hyderabad city was established in the year 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Sha and Hyderabad remained under the rule of the Qutb Shahi dynasty for nearly a century before the Mughals captured the region. In 1724, Mughal viceroy Asif Jah I declared his sovereignty and created his own dynasty, also known as the Nizams of Hyderabad. The Hyderabad State ultimately became a princely state during British rule and remained so for 150 years, with the city serving as its capital. The city continued as a capital of a new Hyderabad State after joining the Indian Union in 1948 and before attaining its current status as the focal point of Andhra Pradesh in 1956.

Current Ranking not only makes the residents of Hyderabad and Hyderabad associated people would feel good while it boots the tourism and trade in Hyderabad creating livelihood for many who depend on Tourism.
