19-Year-Old Teen Murdered In New Delhi For Urinating In A Open Area, Main Accused Arrested
A 19-year-old boy was murdered in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi, after he urinated in an open area on July 14, 2019.
The police have arrested the man who stabbed the 19-year-old boy.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Ankit, the 19-year-old teenager, went to Tilak Nagar to collect his smartphone from a cellphone repair shop.
Officials said that when Ankit was returning back to his home, he decided to pee in an open area.
While Ankit was trying to pee, Ravi, the man who stabbed Ankit, asked the teenager to urinate in a different area.
The conversation between the two led to an alteration in which one of the friends of Ravi decided to join the fight.
Ankit was stabbed in front of the locals.
The police confirmed the incident.
A local police officer said, “The accused’s house was a few steps away from the place where Ankit was urinating. He also places a stall in the same area. He has been arrested. We are also verifying his friends’ role in the crime.”
The brother of Ankit went out to search for his brother after he did not return home on Saturday evening.
When the brother of Ankit got to the area, he saw Ravi Singh stabbing his brother in front of a huge crowd.
The brother of Ankit rushed him to a hospital near the area, but the doctors declared him as dead upon arrival.
The police have arrested Ravi Singh and have registered a case against him.
An investigation has also been launched to find out if the friend of Ravi Singh was involved in stabbing Ankit Kumar.
