8 Indian Nationals killed in Dubai Bus Accident
8 Indian nationals have been confirmed dead in a bus crash in Dubai, the confirmation was done by the Indian Consulate in Dubai. The bus accident happened on June 6, 2019, evening.

A total of 17 people were killed in the incident, in which 8 of them were Indians. The bus had a total of 31 passengers, the 14 injured people are currently being treated in Rashid Hospital.
According to the police of Dubai, the bus was traveling from Oman and had 31 passengers inside it when the crash happened, the bus rammed into a sign-board on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road on June 6, 2019, around 6 pm.

Mwasalat is a government-owned company that runs buses, canceled all its trips from Muscat to Dubai after the accident.
The company released a statement after the accident, they said, “Mwasalat has paid great attention to the incident immediately on receipt of the news and has been in direct contact with the competent authorities in Dubai to look into the incident.”
Abdullah Al Marri, the Police Chief of Dubai, said that drivers should stay alert while they are driving.
He added, “Sometimes a simple error or negligence during driving leads to serious consequences, as happened this evening, and resulted in the deaths of 17 people of different nationalities.”
