Jamshedpur, Jharkhand: 28-year-old man kills mother after she refused to serve him food after he came home.

Officials said that the incident happened inside the house of Bistu Singh, the alcoholic man, at Kuldiha, which is located 28 kilometers away from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Neighbors of the accused claimed that Singh was involved in arguments inside his house and with the locals.

The neighbors also confirmed that Singh was an alcoholic.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Bistu Singh was drunk on July 15, 2019, the day of the incident, when he came come.

Singh allegedly asked his mother to serve him food, but his 55-year-old mother refused to serve him food.

DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) Pitambar Kherwar said that after the mother refused to serve food to Singh, the accused started to beat her up and hit her with a wooden object that was inside their house.

The mother succumbed to her injuries on the spot.

DSP Kherwar added that they have arrested Bistu Singh and have recovered the wooden object that he used to beat his mother.

The police have sent the body of the mother for an autopsy that will tell what caused the death of the mother.
