The dead body of Captain Diwakar Puri was found on a railway track in New Delhi yesterday morning. Cpt. Puri was part of the Army Medical Corps and is a resident of New Delhi.

The body of Captain Puri was found on the track of the Old Delhi Railway Station by 11 am in the morning.

Reports suggest that a Shatabadi Train passed the Old Delhi Railway Track when the incident happened.

A railway official said, “Captain Diwakar Puri attended training in Lucknow and was returning to Delhi on Shramjeevi Express. He had boarded the train at 5.45 am.”

According to the Railway Official, Captain Puri was woken up by a coach attendant at the Old Delhi Railway Station.

Authorities revealed that Captain Puri was asked to report in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Captain Diwakar Puri committed suicide.

The dead body of Captain Diwakar has been sent an autopsy, which will reveal the exact cause of his death.
