Unnao, Uttar Pradesh: A drunk father was in a fight with her wife when suddenly he picked up his daughter and slammed her on the floor, killing her instantly.

Anil Singh, the Station House Officer of the Maurawan Police Station, said Govind Lodhi, the father of the 3-year-old girl, is an alcoholic who fought with his wife every single day.

But on September 7, 2019, Govind beat up his wife and slammed his daughter on the floor, which killed her instantly.

Gudiya, the wife of Govind Lodhi, said her daughter used to hug her every time her husband would beat her up.

Gudiya added, on Saturday her husband beat her up, and slammed their daughter on the floor.

SHO Singh said no complaint has been registered against Govind Lodhi.

The 3-year-old girl’s dead body was sent for an autopsy, and once the report comes in, an investigation will be launched, SHO Singh added.
