Jealousy is something that causes a number of problems, but it shouldn’t allow someone to harm the person that they actually love.

In a shocking incident, an Indian man that was living in New York stabbed his wife to death after finding out that she had a crush on Hrithik Roshan, a Bollywood star.

According to reports, 33-year-old Dineshwar Budhidat stabbed 27-year-old Donne Dojoy to death on November 8, 2019.

After killing his wife, who was working as a bartender, Dineshwar hanged himself from a tree.

Reports suggest that Dineshwar was an abusive and controlling husband.

When the murder happened, Dojoy had a restraining order against him.

2 days before the incident, Dineshwar Budhidat pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in court on Wednesday regarding an incident that happened in August.

After stabbing his wife to death, Dineshwar Budhidat raged over the fact that his wife had a crush on Hrithik Roshan.

A friend of Dojoy, the victim, said that Dineshwar Budhidat was obsessed with the body, job, and with Dojoy in every single way.

According to Mala Ramdhani, a karaoke singer at Gemini Ultra Lounge said Dineshwar Budhidat would tell Dojoy to stop listening to Hrithik Roshan or to stop watching his movie as he would get jealous.

Earlier this year, Budhidat slapped and strangled Dojoy inside their house in Queens, New York.

Authorities arrested Dineshwar Budhidat on August 21, 2019.

Dojoy then filed a restraining order against Dineshwar Budhidat and was granted protection against his husband.

Dojoy was pronounced dead at the scene having been stabbed multiple times in the torso.
