Indian National Travelling To Bangkok Arrested At IGI Airport For Carrying 4 7.65mm Bullets

RK Singla, an Indian National that was on his way to Bangkok, was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport for carrying 4 7.65mm bullets in his jacket.

An officer of the Central Industrial Security Force that was assigned at the Indira Gandhi International Airport detected the 4 7.65mm bullets from RK Singla on the evening of August 5, 2019.

The bullets were detected when RK Singla went through the screening procedures of the airport.

The spokesperson of the Central Industrial Security Force said, “The recovered bullet rounds are of 7.65mm.”

The man has been handed over to the Delhi Police and has been booked under the Arms Act of India.

August 15 (Independence Day) is fast approaching, and as part of the preparations by the IGIA, the airport has brought in extra security personnel to tighten up the security.
