Jaipur May Run Out Of Clean Water In One Month If It Does Not Rain In The District

Residents in Jaipur can face water issues in the upcoming month if rain does not fall in the district, said the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan.

Bisalpur Dam, which is the main source of water in the district, provides clean water to at least 3 million people in the state.

But the problem is that it only has water supplies for one month.

The full capacity of the Bisalpur Dam is 1,095 cusec meters, and the current water level meter in the dam is only 64.93 cusec meters.

In other words, out of 100 percent, the Bisalpur Dam’s current water level is at 5.93 percent.

The district of Jaipur only received 116 mm of rainfall this year.

Last year, it received 225 mm of rainfall by this time of the year.

Officials at the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan said that 12 districts in the state received 60 percent less rainfall compared to last year.

The officials added that the western part of Rajasthan is currently facing drought and is running out of water.

The state of Rajasthan has 810 dams, which includes all the small and the big ones.

The Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan says that 517 of the dams in the state have less than 33 percent of water left.

Officials at the Central Ground Water Board said that the groundwater level in the state has fallen by over 62 percent in the last decade alone.

The Central Ground Water Board is a government-owned board that conducts studies and programs that monitor water levels in India.

Rajasthan is not the only state in India that is experiencing the drought.

Earlier this summer, Chennai faced the same problem after 4 of their reserve water dams dried up. The government had to spend Rs. 65 crores to bring in water from the nearby areas through trains.

The current stage of the drought has alarmed environmentalists across India and around the world.

A recent study suggests that 21 Major cities in India, which includes Bengaluru, the IT hub of India, will run out of groundwater supply by 2020.

The study also mentioned that more than 600 million people will face extreme water crisis in the upcoming year.

More than 200 thousand people die in India every year because they do not have access to safe and clean water.
