The Delhi police arrested the kidnapper who kidnapped a 9-year-old girl for wanting to marry her on June 2, 2019. The kidnapper has been identified as Kamlesh.

The Delhi Police said that Kamlesh worked as a laborer at the house of the 9-year-old kid last month, and every time he was working, he was seen interacting with the minor.

On Sunday, the laborer asked her if she wanted to marry him, after the 9-year-old girl refused, the man kidnapped her.

The Delhi Police arrested him at the Mahoba Railway Station when he was on his way to his village in UP with the 9-year-old girl.

The Delhi Police said that the laborer kidnapped the girl so he could force the family members of the girl to allow her to marry him.

Kamlesh kidnapped the 9-year-old girl when she was buying eggs at a shop near their home.

The police formed 12 teams, which consisted of 75 police officers, that were assigned to arrest and find the minor.
