Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh: A woman that was accused by her husband of having an affair with someone else was beaten up and shamed on the evening of Tuesday in Madhya Pradesh.

The woman, who belongs to a tribe dominated village, was reportedly shamed, harassed, and forced to carry her husband on her shoulders as part of a punishment.

The entire incident was caught on cam.

The woman, whose identity was not shared with the public, was jeered and heckled by the backward minded villagers.

In the video, the woman could be seen having a hard time walking as she was being forced to carry her husband.

The mother of 3 kids was also hit with sticks when she stopped at one point.

No one in the village stopped the people from doing such horrible acts. Instead, people took their phones out and captured the horrible moment.

The police said that the video was shared on social media, and as a result, 7 villagers, which includes the husband of the woman, have been charged.

The woman and her husband, who work as daily wage laborers, had returned to their house from Gujarat on Sunday.

It is said that the husband told his family and villagers that he suspected the woman was having an affair with a co-worker.

As a punishment, they did the horrible act.
