Rajasthan: Clean Water Will Be Transported To Pali Via Train From Jodhpur

Rajasthan Drought: In order to provide clean water to the residents of Pali, Rajasthan, clean water will be transported to the district via train today.

The water will be transported from Jodhpur.

During an interview with Neeraj Kumar, a Water Engineer Officer, the plan of the district is to provide 30 lakh liters of clean water to the residents of Pali on a daily basis.

Dinesh Kumar, the District Collector of Pali, said that the clean water will be coming from Jodhpur “as the dam has dried up in the area”.

DC Kumar added that the district has “planned to continue with the water transportation till rains lash the parched region or until we get a sufficient amount of drinking water in the area.”

This is the first train that will be going to Pali today.

Jaipur is currently facing the same thing.

Jaipur is set to face a water crisis in the coming month if rain does not fall in the district.

According to the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan, the Bisalpur Dam, which is the main source of water in the district, is currently at 64.93 cusec meters.

The Bisalpur dam provides clean water to at least 3 million people in the state.

The full capacity of the Bisalpur Dam is 1,095 cusec meters, and the current water level meter in the dam is only 64.93 cusec meters. In other words, out of 100 percent, the Bisalpur Dam’s current water level is at 5.93 percent.

The Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan says that 517 of the dams in the state have less than 33 percent of water left.
