Son Of Businessman Forced To Do Sit-Ups By Police For Breaking Lockdown Rules And Driving His Porsche Car

Indore, India: A 20-year-old man that decided to break the lockdown rules of India and drove his expensive Porsche convertible car ended up doing sit-ups after he was caught by volunteers that were helping the police in enforcing the lockdown.

Sanskar Daryani, the 20-year-old driver, was caught cruising down the streets of Indore during the coronavirus lockdown when he was caught by the police.

According to reports, Daryani was caught by the City Security Council, which is made up of retired personnel from the Army, paramilitary and the police.

The members of the council flagged down the car and stopped him because he was breaking the lockdown rules and was seen driving his car without any protective gear.

The police then told the man to do sit-ups as a punishment, which he did.

Daryani is the son of Deepak Daryani, a famous businessman who owns the Asha Confectionery.

Deepak Daryani said that his son was going back home after distributing food packets to the poor.

In a statement that was released by Sanskar Daryani, the son of Deepak, he said:

I was coming back after giving food packets. I showed them my pass but they verbally abused me and asked me to do sit-ups. I tried to talk to them but they didn’t listen. I then followed their orders. They filmed it, cracked jokes and then asked me to leave.

Deepak Daryani, the father of the 20-year-old that was disobeying the lockdown rules, said:

The police personnel were not involved in the incident. They were from the Nagar Surakhsa (city security council) team. They were hurling abuses at my son. Not once did they listen to what he was trying to say. If there was a problem they should have taken him to the police station, followed due process of law. You are making him do sit-ups and insulting him in front of the media.

Daryani has filed a complaint against the men that stopped his 20-year-old son and for forcing him to do sit-ups.
