“A man in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh has been hospitalised after his wife put Fevikwik glue in both of his eyes while he was asleep”, police and doctors said. This is a story of a distressed wife, who came up with the idea of putting glue in eyes as a lesson for her alcoholic husband.

One day, Santosh Vishwakarma reached home late night and was badly drunk. Earlier also, Laxmi had warned him over his addiction to alcohol.

Next day morning, Santosh couldn’t open his eyes as his wife Vijayalakshmi put glue into his eyes while he was sleeping the last night. Constant fights and Santosh’s alcoholic nature caused Vijayalakshmi to take the extreme steps, after which she fled away from the scene.

He called Vijayalakshmi (his wife) but she did not respond. He washed his eyes, but still he was unable to open them. He then shouted and called his neighbours due to which Vijayalakshmi got furious and left and didn’t come back.

Santosh’s eyes are now been operated at the local hospital, where the eye surgeons are applying heat to loosen up the stuck eyelids.
