The Union Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India has recently uploaded a recruitment notification for the posts of language interpreter for the languages viz. – Pashto, Turkish, Dari, Persian, Uzbek. Now, on the basis of the same recruitment (2014) notification the Union Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India is welcoming offline application forms from the eligible candidates those who want to apply for the same post.Candidates willing to apply for the Union Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India recruitment 2014, and possess the necessary qualification asked for the language interpreter posts as given under the official notification can apply through offline mode before 31st August 2014 (this is the last date of offline application receipt). However, the last day for remote areas of the Indian territory the last date is 15th September 2014.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:

(1) Bachelor’s degree in the concerned language from a recognized University or Institution or a degree with diploma in the concerned language from a recognized University or Institution.
(2) Experience – High degree of proficiency in English with competence to translate from the concerned language into English and Vice-Versa.

Age Limit:

Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 30 Years As On 31-08-2014. Age relaxations will be applicable as per the rules

Pay Scale:

Pay Band (PB – 2) and Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- Per Month plus additional allowances as admissible to Govt. Employee.

Selection Procedure:

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test followed by the Viva- Voce and finally the Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.

  • Interested Candidates may apply in the prescribed format along with the duly attested photo copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), etc. with a recent passport size photograph, one must be affix on the application form may be forwarded to the “Post Bag No. 001, Lodhi Road Head Office, New Delhi – 110 003” on or before 31 August 2014.
  • Candidates already employed in Central Govt./ State Govt./ Public Sector Undertakings (PSU)/ Departmental candidates should submit their applications through proper channel and also submit the “No Objection Certificate” from the current employer.
  • The envelope containing the application must be super scribed in bold letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________________”.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for attending the Interview.
