Technicians : 07 Posts (UR: 04, OBC: 01, SC/ST: 02)
Scientist/ Senior Scientist : 04 Posts

Eligibility Criteria :

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must complete SSC/ 10th standard with Science subjects with 55% marks Plus.ITI certificate with should have desire experience for Technician.Ph.D in Biochemistry/Biophysics/Life Sciences/PhysicsPh.D/M.Tech/ME in any Engineering discipline.

Age Limit:

Candidates Age limit must be 28 years for Technician & 32 years for Scientist and 37 years for Senior Scientist as on 26.08.2014. as on 26th August 2014. upper Age relaxation will be applicable 5 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC & 10 years for PWD as per rules.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination and Personal Interview.

Pay Scale:

Selected candidates require to pay Rs.5200-20200/- pay scale with Rs.1900/- grade pay for Technician and
Scientist/ Senior Scientist in Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay- Rs.6600/-(for Scientist), Rs.7600/-(for Senior Scientist)

Application fee:

Candidates require to pay Rs.500/- through Demand draft in the favour of Director, NISCAIR, payable at New Delhi. SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad Candidates category are exempted from fee.
