West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) has published notification for recruitment of Baker-cum-Confectioner (Group – B), Cook (Group – C) Vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 05-12-2014 upto 04.00 PM.  This notification has been announced for filling total 414 various posts of the Lower Division Clerk / Assistant, Bhumi Sahayak, Amin, Draftsman, Krishi Prayukti Sahayak and Veterinary Pharmacist. Any interested and eligible Candidates can apply via online and offline mode.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 year to 42 years for some posts and 18 years to 38 years for remaining posts. Age reduction will be applicable as per the government rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination, one year trade diploma in Bakery and Confectionery from a recognized institution, 02 years experience in a Bakery or Confectionery for Post No.1, Pass in Madhyamik or equivalent from any recognized Board, One year Diploma in Hotel Management/ Hospitality Management / Food & catering technology from any recognized institution, 03 years working experience as Cook in Govt. Department/ Public Sector Undertaking/ reputed organization for Post No.2.

Must have the following Physical Measurements:

Height: Not less than 5 feet 2½ inches

Chest: Un-inflated–Not less than 32 inches

Inflated – Not less than 34 inches

Fees Structure: Under the registration process it is being provided by the West Bengal (WB) Staff Selection Commission that applicants are to pay Rs. 25 either by the offline or online method of payment.

Selection Method: The most effective method of making the assortment is to check their mental power at the most. This mental exercise is also the chosen method for the post i.e. competitive examination followed with the interview is the process of selection.
