About : Kaveri Grameena Bank was shaped on 1st November 2012 on amalgamation of Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameena Bank (Sponsored by State Bank of Mysore) Chikmagalur – Kodagu Grameena Bank (Sponsored by Corporation Bank) and Visveshvaraya Grameena Bank (Sponsored by Vijaya Bank) vide Notification No.B/H/2011 RRB –(Karnataka) of Ministry of Finance, GOI dated 1st November 2012. The Bank has an aggregate system of 400 Branches as on 31.03.2014 covering 10 Districts. Amid the year 2013-14, the Bank has opened 66 new limbs. It is proposed to open around 60 new extensions amid the current year mulling over the need for quickened business development and to meet money related consideration arrangement commitments.
