According to the reports, Actor Dhanush was suffered from injuries during the shoot of his upcoming film Maari 2. Dhansuh was shooting a climax fight sequence with Tovino Thomas who is doing a role of villain in this movie.

Maari 2 is one of the most awaited films of Tamil cinema, fans were requesting for the sequel of 2015 blockbuster film Maari. Maari 2 shoot was started a few days back, and now the shoot has been delayed again because of Dhanush injuries.

Dhanush got multiple injuries in his left arm and right leg, he was sent to the hospital for examination immediately after this incident. This incident happened on Thursday, and now doctors have suggested him to do rest for a while. After this incident, Dhanush’s fans start sending him a blessing on social media.

Dhanush tweeted, “My beloved dear fans… It’s not a major injury, and I’m well. Thank you so much for your concern, prayers and love. I’m forever grateful. Love you all. My pillars of strength.” For his beloved fans.

Before the shoot of Maari 2, Dhanush was busy at promotions of his French-Indian movie “The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir” in France. This movie is just recently released on 14 June and got a good response from audiences. This is a French English language adventure-comedy film which is directed by Ken Scott and got 7.5 IMDB rating.

Balaji Mohan also directs the sequel of Maari under Wunderbar Films production. Maari 2 is starring Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Robo Shankar and Tovino Thomas.

The shooting of the Maari 2 is stopped, and they are waiting for Dhanush to get back to sets. There are some rumours that he is going to get back to shoot in few days. This is not the first time when he is going through this problem, and he had suffered injuries on set before during the shoot of Raanjhanaa and Polladhavan. At that time he suffered a shoulder and forehead injuries.

The released date of Maari 2 has not been yet decided, and filmmakers will make an official announcement when it will be selected.
