What is known as one the significant hits, Geethanjali was released all the way back in 2014. The four-year-old movie was not just a hit, but also a trendsetter for many more films. The film was a presentation of prominent writer-turned-producer Kona Venkat and the production of MVV Cinema. Now four years later the sequel of the film Geethanjali-2  is announced.

 

 

Geethanjali-2 Details

Geethanjali-2 is said to be a novel and distinct entertainer by MVV Cinema and Kona Film Corporation. The lead role is going once again to the talented Anjali who will play the titular role. Prabhu Deva a fantastic personality and a multi-talented star of the Industry announced the project.

The movie is said to be a thriller-comedy, which will be directed by an Indian-American director. The details of the cast are yet to be announced.

Taking the announcement to Twitter, film producer Kona Venkat says, “We are going to thrill the audience this time !! An excellent script from an Indian – American… Details will be revealed soon (sic).”

 

The 2014 Geethanjali was an experiment by makers of the film, bringing hilarity in a horror-thriller entertainment. The film was a major hit and entertained people of all age.

The first look of the film is released in the form of a poster, in the poster, Anjali is wearing a red dress.

Anjali has been missing from Tollywood for a while, and this could be the comeback. Kona Film Corporation recently produced ‘Ninnu Kori’ and is currently producing ‘Neevevaro’ starring Aadhi Pinisetty, Taapsee Pannu and Ritika Singh in lead roles.

Geethanjali is said to be one of the best horror-comedy made in all time of 2014. The movie was entertaining and was a major hit. Keeping that in mind, the expectation from the film is very high. There are speculations of some other experiment as well.
